About Terra Harmony
I am the author of The Akasha Series and The Kindred Curse Anthology. The Akasha series are contemporary eco-fantasies. The first three books, ‘Water’, ‘Air’, and ‘Fire’ are available in print and as e-books. The final book in the series, ‘Earth’, will be released on April 22nd, 2013.
The Kindred Curse Anthology is a series of five vampire short stories, set as prequels to each other. It is now available as one complete collection.
A little about me – I was born and raised in Colorado but have since lived in California, Texas, Utah, North Carolina and Virginia. I consider myself lucky to have seen most of the states, but that leaves most of the world yet to be seen!
I served a 5½ year enlistment in the Marine Corp, have a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and master’s degree in Linguistics. I live in a suburb of Washington, DC with my husband of 14 years and three children.

Interview with Maria Violante
Q: There were a few, well, adult passages in here! Was that something you had to think about before including them in the novel?
A: For sure! In fact, I still debate taking them out and floating my book around the YA crowd. Maybe it would do better there. But the fact is, I’m not really sure I belong there as an author. I’m not sure it would be a sustainable career for me. So onward I go – sex scenes and all!
A.F. Stewart’s Interview with Terra Harmony
Q: What’s next for you?
A: An ice cream sandwich. And then maybe just a few more hundred words before bedtime…

Hey Terra – I stumbled on your blog after reading Facebook’s “Indie Exchange.” I just wanted to send an encouraging word to another veteran come “Indie” author. Though what you write isn’t a genre I normally read, I may have to take a peek. Lately I’ve been reading books by other independent writers in an effort to support their work.
Best of luck with the series. I’ll let you know my thoughts after reading. Oh, and I’m going to hit the “like” buttons for you, so if you’d reciprocate….
Hi Gregory – thanks for your words of encouragement! Always nice to hear from a fellow vet. I just liked your book on Amazon and your Facebook page. Good luck with your writing and self-pub journey!
Hey, Terra! Your name means earth! Did you know that? I love your books and am just getting into ‘fire.’ Also, anxiously awaiting next year’s ‘earth!’ too. Love your work and keep writing. george d. slouze
Hi Terra – I know you’ve probably done one of these “Next Big Thing” tag games, so I thought maybe you could recycle as I’ve done. Info and rules are on my blog: http://gregorylambpdxauthor.wordpress.com/2013/01/21/the-next-big-thing-redux/
